Goodbye to Jada

I love vintage stuff, and a year ago I acquired "Jada" and brought her to the Sewing Machine Place to have her serviced.  She still hasn't been functional enough for me, and so I posted a Craigslist ad and sold her this morning.  She really is a lovely machine, and the dad and daughter who came to check her out happen to be handy (he's a contractor and she's a structural engineer) said there'd be no problem getting her working again.  My  tiny condo with its challenges of space enough to sew quilts and I say merci.
