Hello Anna, I've been searching for King Tut's turquoise engobe. Can you tell me how to find it? I'm using Hagi porcelain as well. Thank you, Judith from Santa Monica
I’m sorry I never replied before as I’d never had any comments and thought I was just send my thoughts into a never read land….King Tut’s Turquoise is an engobe produced by Leslie’s Ceramics which has since been taken over by Clay Planet. I discovered this engobe when it was produced by Leslie’s when still owned by John Toki.
Leslie's Ceramics has since folded, but Clay Planet bought most of their glaze recipes. I see that IMCO has the color....https://www.clayimco.com/product/hp10-king-tut-turquoise-cone-06-10-leslie-ceramic-engobe/245

Please answer me asap. Is there really an engobe called "King Tut's turquoise engobe" or did you invent the term? Thank you
