Floral Arrangement: Favorite Pastels

I’ll be missing this little girl when I return to work next week. She came with me yesterday on my foraging for flowers.                   

I cut the stems really short because I knew we had no more tall vases, but yikes this vase was too small. And so my aim in the ceramics studio this week is to glaze and mid fire the medium-sized Alvar Alto-inspired vase I built.                         

I ended up separating the bouquet into individual bud vases.                         

White dahlias.

Green and blue lavender hydrangeas. These are my favorite by far.

Mauve dahlias. My second most favorite of this bunch.

Pale pink miniature roses. I never tire of pink.
