Quarantine Cooking: Summer Patty Melt

I still had leftover raw ground beef, which turned into what I call my Summer Patty Melt for one when the hubs had to work late and wouldn't be home for dinner. I fried up one patty, medium rare, and instead of caramelizing the onions, I layered the raw slices into the burger with the meat and Swiss cheese blend (Gruyรจre and Emmenthal)

And then I remembered the fresh heirlooms I had added to my grilled cheese.
Oh my yumminess.
But wait. I needed a cocktail too. Finished the rest of the premixed margarita.
Finished off the rest of the ground beef and the sourdough loaf when the hubs had his summer patty melt the next night while I ate leftover mapo dofu. Away with you leftovers.
