Yesterday in the ceramics studio I rolled out a slab of speckled buff from the bag of clay I brought and a slab of reclaimed white (mostly Bmix I’m guessing). I spent most of the two and a half hours compressing the slabs and then constructing a commissioned planter from the speckled buff. And aaargh I forgot to cut out drainage holes in its bottom. I wrapped it in plastic and am hoping to pick it up before it stiffens too much to cut holes. And with the white clay, I made a soap dish.
